The PCR test is the backbone of the whole Covid-19 policy. What does the acronym even mean? Polymerase Chain Reaction. It sounds so scientific. But is it?
So, here is the case that PCR – as it is now being used, as opposed to its original intention – really should be an acronym for Propaganda, Corruption, and Rationalization.
Propaganda
PCR technology is used to amplify trace amounts of DNA material. This is certainly useful for research purposes. However, the inventor of the PCR process was very clear – it should not be used as a measurement or diagnostic tool. See the article PCR – A Shaky Foundation to see more about the faulty science behind the PCR test.
To summarize that article:
- PCR does not provide a yes/no, sick/healthy result.
- The process is used to amplify the trace amounts of DNA and one can keep amplifying until the threshold is reached that is arbitrarily defined as a positive result.
- The process just amplifies DNA and certain sequences are simply assumed to be related to coronavirus with no science to support this. Cells excrete DNA as a way to cleanse themselves – exosome theory – so this could be an equally valid assumption of where these sequences of DNA come from.
Since the science is shaky, one can easily conclude that what the PCR test is good for is as a pseudo-scientific basis for the extreme policies that have been implemented. Another way to put it is that the PCR test is used for propaganda purposes.
Corruption
Even if we were to assume that the PCR test was a reliable basis upon which to make policy, it doesn’t seem good enough for the powers that be and they are not relying on it alone to pump up the number of Covid case numbers:
- When the test doesn’t give the results desired (positive) it is ignored and cases are nonetheless declared to be a Covid-19 case, as this nurse makes clear.
- Cases are declared to be Covid-19 based upon symptoms only e.g. respiratory symptoms
- We can clearly see that the number of deaths do not track the number of cases: See coronavirusbellcurve.com. Also see how the cases in Japan seem to have no relationship to deaths in Japan.
- The CDC conflates positive antibody tests with positive PCR tests which serves to increase the number of cases.
- Each time a person tests positive (e.g. from two tests a week apart) it is counted as a Covid case. One person can be counted as many cases.
- In Florida 22 labs reported 100% of PCR tests came out positive.
- Even papayas test positive with the PCR test.
Rationalization
“Man is not a rational animal; he is a rationalizing animal.” ―Robert A. Heinlein
There is very little that is rational about the PCR test or Covid-19. However, that does not seem to stop our leaders from rationalizing about the need for emergency measures based upon the faulty results of the PCR test.
It’s Time to Be Rational, not To Rationalize
Carl Sagan in The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark described what is at stake:
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
Let’s applaud the scientists who are trying to keep us from being bamboozled:
And let’s hope for more of them …
