A Pandemic of Censorship About Covid and Covid Vaccines

Google and Facebook have so committed to banning, deleting, and de-platforming dissenting voices about Covid and vaccines that it is a challenge to know where to start in covering the phenomenon. The Fall 2019 pandemic simulations called Event 201 (ostensibly staged to enhance preparedness for the real pandemic that was just months away) included discussions about the need to utilize censorship to counter expected disinformation about the pandemic. Indeed, censorship has become like oxygen to the mainstream story – without it the story would die a quick death.

Soon after the pandemic began, the story about the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its possible role in accidentally releasing a laboratory-enhanced virus was quickly condemned in a letter published in The Lancet that effectively discouraged anyone from exploring the lab-leak theory: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin.” It has become clear that The Lancet statement was drafted by British scientist Peter Daszak. The statement had the effect of deflecting attention from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (an organization that he has collaborated with) and the “lab-leak” theory. The statement was reportedly used by Facebook as a basis upon which to flag articles exploring the lab leak hypothesis as ‘false information.’

The Lancet also ran a paper that claimed to prove that Hydroxychloroquine was not an effective treatment for Covid. When the authors denied independent researchers access to the data The Lancet retracted the paper, but the damage was already done to hydroxychloroquine.

Next, when the America’s Frontline Doctors video about their success in treating Covid went viral, breaking YouTube records for views in just a couple of days, it was removed. Some of their success was attributed to the use of hydroxychloroquine, an inexpensive medicine with a history of safe use, yet it was slammed by mainstream media.

Ivermectin suffered the same fate as hydroxychloroquine. Even, Nobel prize winner Dr. Satoshi Ōmura has had a video in which he talks about ivermectin censored. Now, it seems clear that it was critical to malign any conventional treatment so that there was no obstacle to the emergency use authorization that was eventually granted to the Covid vaccines.

For decades we have heard about ways to improve our immune system through good food, exercise and sleep, but that is never discussed. We know that once you are sick you develop natural immunity, so why is that never discussed either? Instead, the vaccine is assumed to be the only thing that can provide immunity and there is a relentless campaign fronted by Dr. Fauci, the CDC, the WHO and, even the President adding his weight to the message.

Yet when Dr. Francis Christian voiced his concerns about vaccinating children he was fired. Dr. Christian noted that the principle of informed consent was sacrosanct and noted that a patient should always be “fully aware of the risks of the medical intervention, the benefits of the intervention, and if any alternatives exist to the intervention.”

“This should apply particularly to a new vaccine that has never before been tried in humans… before the vaccine is rolled out to children, both children and parents must know the risks of m-RNA vaccines,” he wrote. Nonetheless, he said he had not come across a single vaccinated child or parent who has been adequately informed.

While the miracle of the vaccine is endlessly touted, the fact that people are dying from the vaccine is mostly ignored. By mid-July, the CDC VAERS database shows 9,048 deaths attributed to Covid vaccines. Remember, that the CDC was very thorough in directing doctors how to report Covid deaths – Dr. Birx described it as a “liberal approach to mortality.” The CDC takes the opposite approach to reporting vaccine adverse effects: since vaccines are assumed to be safe, they can’t be the cause of adverse reactions or death. A Harvard study concluded that about 1% of adverse reactions are actually reported. Such underreporting could be considered another form of censorship.

Facebook won’t be outdone by Google in the censorship wars. A group of 120,000 people found their way to a Facebook Group where they discussed adverse reactions to the Covid vaccines. That seems to be exactly the kind of thing that Facebook was invented for – for like-minded people to share information. Yet, the group was deleted by Facebook.

It is ironic enough that Facebook deletes a group like that, but, the greater irony goes for an even more egregious act, banning Professor Nicholas O’Shaughnessy, an expert in propaganda:

“I am a career academic, I always have been. I taught 11 years at the University of Cambridge… it is incredible, actually, it is absolutely incredible that I should be a victim of the very thing I write about. Facebook is even worse than the medieval Catholic Church in terms of censorship, it has become Orwellian. It is an empire, a cyber-empire policed by vicious robots, and we are all its victims.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki admits to collaborating with Facebook: that “We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook.”

Dr. Robert Malone, a “vaccinologist” and the inventor of the mRNA technology used in the Covid vaccines, says that those who have recovered from SARS-CoV2 don’t need the injection, but, one must rely on alternative media to hear what he has to say. He says that no one should be forced to take these experimental injections, that the risks outweigh the benefits in children, teens and young adults. A podcast in which he discussed the potential dangers of COVID-19 gene therapy was erased from YouTube. A Wikipedia page that once broadly cited Malone is now crediting others. Malone has also been locked out of LinkedIn.

Malone discussed the scientific paper The Safety of COVID-19 Vaccinations—We Should Rethink the Policy. The paper made a statistical analysis and concluded: “For three deaths prevented by vaccination we have to accept two inflicted by vaccination.” The paper was retracted because of “the academic thought police,” as Malone puts it. “There are a lot of academics that feel it is their mission to block publication of papers that might compromise the vaccine mission.”

He goes on to describe those who have adverse reactions and mention them to family, friends and the medical community only to be told that they are imagining things because the vaccine is safe. He describes this as the “ultimate gaslighting” and points out that such people then have to deal with both the fallout of the vaccine adverse event, and the emotional fallout of not being believed. He says our fear of Covid is excessive, similar to an African’s fear of Ebola, and that this paranoia is a factor in the censorship we are seeing. “We can’t get to scientific truths if we can’t discuss things.”

Most recently, even elected officials are not allowed to speak: Senator Rand Paul was suspended for a week on YouTube, and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was suspended for a week on Twitter.

The censorship is indeed rampant, and spreading like a pandemic. One can only ask what are they so desparately hiding? Perhaps, it has something to do with the fact that there is no pandemic … at least not according to the old definition of pandemic. WHO’s original definition of a pandemic from May 1, 2009, specified simultaneous epidemics worldwide “with enormous numbers of deaths and illnesses.” This definition was changed in the month leading up to the 2009 swine flu pandemic, removing the severity and high mortality criteria. Using the earlier definition, it would be a hard case to make that we’ve suffered from a pandemic. The lack of a real pandemic seems to be related to the pandemic of censorship.
